This morning while hand-trimming in the back yard I discovered evidence that Bun-Bun, the wild rabbit who frequents our house and with whom I've had several one-sided conversations, is probably female:

Kittens! (The Other "Kittens"...)

I was on my hands and knees brushing debris away as I worked, and suddenly things didn't feel or sound right. The photo doesn't show them all, but I counted four kits. After taking the picture I replaced the natural covering as best I could.

Imagine! This is happening in Soul's domain. Were he alive, he would never approve...

Sooo cute!!!! We just discovered we (my roommate and I) have a groundhog living under our shed!! He comes out every night and every morning to nibble grass... Surprisingly he doesn't seem to be touching our garden or out strawberry patch.... yet!

Ohhhhhhhhh............how awesome!! She must be such a proud Bun-Bun!! (Does she always travel around with that white arrow ?????) I am so impressed.......you're a computer genius! And that arrow is so straight. Was it done freehand or did you use a ruler? ( Oh, lord.........here I go again).

Update: Bun-Bun's nest is empty! I carefully checked today and found everyone gone. I believe they vacated the nest sometime in the past two days. I came across a young rabbit in our front yard a couple days ago. At that time I thought it couldn't have been one of Bun-Bun's, but now I don't know.

My, they grow fast!

Hi ((((((((((((Rohag))))))))))))))))

It might have been Soul's area, but I'm sure he would be glad that the bunnies are bringing you joy!

Bunnies are sooooo cute. If you have one batch now, you might have another in the future. I was just thinking that they have to grow fast since they bread like "rabbits." LOL.

Thanks for this!

Kittens! (The Other "Kittens"...)

One of Bun-Bun's brood?

That very well could be one of Bun Bun's babies. So adorable. Do you ever feed them Rohag?

Not sure how you call a rabbit. I would put a piece of a carrot out and then when they come to eat it, I would toss more over their way. They will smell it trust me. Once they get used to you feeding them they will continue to come back. Every year we would have rabbits back. Not sure if they were all from the same litter ( I was too young to know that) but every year we had bunnies and I kept feeding them.
Thanks for this!
