Our weather is nice today, didn't need a heavy coat. Just a great fall day. (I know it's practically winter, but we haven't had a flake of snow yet!) |

Cloudy a lot, in the 60's, with not enough rain that they keep promising.
 Just that "polka dot rain", the kind of "rain" that just stirs up the grime on my car, making it look like it has brown polka dots. I HATE THAT!!!!! RAIN, will you??

It's been pretty mild, a bit warm for my taste this time of year, but overall comfortable and with little if any rain.

40's with light rain. Supposed to get much colder in the next few days with possible snow by Friday or Saturday. Definitely not Florida!

It is mild tonight for December. Plus 6 and overcast. Rain predicted for tomorrow. The snow squalls we had last week have nearly disappeared.The mountain tops look green again.

Warm weather here is God's answer to my prayer...lol....I say that because I purchased a storm door from Lowe's last April & the wood around where the door attaches to was all chipping & crackling (not the effect that I want on the paint around my door)........so during the summer, I unsuccessfully worked on using stripper on the paint.....lots of work no success.
Sooooooooo lightbulb came on a month ago to use my little mouse sander.......used it.....it broke before I could get the sanding done. I had just purchased a huge amount of the sandpaper for that mouse sander also (it's velcro like stuff in a specific shape)...so I had to buy another sander. Well, I finally got the paint all off a few weeks ago & it turned freezing cold......can't paint in that cold of weather.....so I asked for some warm weather so I could get my project finished. Second coat of primer finished TODAY......final top coat going on Friday......Storm door going up next Wednesday morning.....& my project WILL BE FINISHED. I can sand the front door & repaint that next spring now that I know the sander works so well. Hopefully my garage door project will be repaired by next Wednesday also......& I can then ask for all the winter weather to BRING IT ON!!!!!!. Hoping for snow this year. It's just not winter if there's no snow & cold weather now that I'm living HERE.
