Yesterday was the first time I got to hang out with him. We've been trying to find a time to hang out for weeks. I only see him once or twice a year at a mutual friend's get together. Yesterday he decided to hang out with me because he needed an outfit. It was such a wonderful relaxing day, we spent all day driving from city to city and had so much fun shopping and listening to music.

We were going to go to a rave tonight but I got sick, so I couldn't go. I'm so bummed out, I was looking forward to this all week!

I don't know how I'm going to find another day to hang out. He makes plans very last minute and takes several college classes, so when he's not out partying he's studying. He also overbooks, meaning he will make two different plans with two people on the same day and then forgets. That happened when we were coming home from shopping: we pulled into a parking lot of a restaurant and then he got a phone call saying he was supposed to go to a dinner party, and he told me he had to go because he had planned it weeks ago.

I want to spend more time with him, but how do I do that when he has such a busy schedule?

Hey Doc. Is this the same guy you were going to spend Valentine's with?

If so, I'd tell you to tell him that you want to spend more time with him, and try to schedule it with him as best you can. He sounds busy from what you say, and he certainly can't do anything about classes, but if you want to pursue more than a friendship with him and he wants the same, he should be able to make some time for you.
