this is really rough haven't worked out all the kinks to make it pseudo interesting but I think based on some things I have read that it may be semi-understandable and not completely off the wall crazy buuuuttt....here it goes just for fun.

I have been writing down my experience that I had in the fall with all the hallucinations, voices, thoughts etc. Mainly because looking back I find them interesting and I want to try to find some meaning in it. The other day I was talking to a friend who said that two of his friends had the same hallucination. Therefore, as I’m writing I stop suddenly and a thought occurred to me that maybe it’s possible that the world is nothing but a collective hallucination. Therefore, when I or anyone on here “hallucinates” it’s merely a break in the collective.

ummm stuff like this pops in my head all the time so don't mind me

That sounds alot like something Keanu Reeves would say.

I would focus more on the meaning behind your hallucinations, when you have them, how you feel before and after, and be open to discuss it with your doctor. Perhaps there are ways you can control them, like if there is a certain feeling you get right before you hallucinate. Acceptance would be most helpful in overcoming your problems. They may not be as intense when you look them straight in the eyes and tell them they're not real.

I think you might like Conspiracy Keanu...he's a popular meme on memebase.

weird theory that occured to me

I've had hallucinations every now and then due to BP, but not for over a year since I've been on meds. I also would have strange thoughts and theories leading up to my diagnosis. Perhaps you are in another state that you are not aware of? Are your thoughts what you would consider normal? How normal are your theories in comparison to your condition? Maybe it's time to step back and think about how you are truly feeling. I wish you the best.

Hm, I actually really like the meme I made for you. But I take no credit, I just hope you don't take it the wrong way.

hi, triciadrich - well, if you study buddhism, you will learn that life is filled with delusions. one of the goals of buddhism is not to let these delusions run your life.

i believe it is possible for people to have similar hallucinations. after all, there are very few original ideas out there. i am not sure there is meaning in inhallucinations and it's probably very painful if one believes in them and they are not true. it's the same as living a delusion. is the world a collective hallucination? well, if you believe in things like real estate bubbles and dot com bubbles . . . maybe . . . until they crash, that is. while the thought of collective hallucinations may be interesting, will it lead to anything concrete in your life? if the answer is no, then I suggest you move on and build a life and belief system on things that are more concrete. all the best to you!
