I was taking an online survey this evening and found one Q/A rather amusing:

Which of the following do you experience occasionally (at least every 2-3 weeks)? Please select all that apply

Swollen stomach
Bloating
Headache
Cold
Migraine
Constipation
Wind
None of these

Wind?
Is that really the proper term for flatulence now?

funny, there is skit on the Benny Hill show where Benny Hill plays an old southerner who owns a cabin on the hill that he called "Passing Wind"

His wife complains that he could have named it Passing Cloud or something instead

His reply " I luuuve Pass'n Wind" it is one of the funniest things anyone has ever done.
Thanks for this!

It is funny and a bit sad that we cannot or do not use the right terms for medical problems. Heaven help anybody just learning English lol
