We had an assembly, in which the teachers were introduced, one by one, to the entire school, and when the principal introduced me, a thunderous applause rose up, nonstop...till the principal had to stop them!
 I honestly had NO idea students liked me so much! Truly! It makes all the oppressive thoughts I was having, after all the meetings, requirements, "suveillance by admins" and all the forms, surveys, and observations seem unimportant.  edit: Oh, and I hope this doesn't sound like I'm bragging. I've had great anxiety about returning to work and feeling inferior. |

Aww seeker im glad to hear this
its nice when we're shown how much we're appreciated. Your story does however remind me of when i attended my school prom and some of us had our pictures taken by teachers. They were later shown in a slideshow at an assembly and when mine came up the silence was.....d.e.a.d.l.y. Its a shame really as nowadays people tend to have more appreciation for those who are goth-ed up to the eyeballs
