Well, since I'm disabled, I can hang around in my nightgown all week & weekends. LOL

I like weekends cause at least one of my favorite shows is on on Sunday. Ice Road Truckers is on Sunday nights, and I love that show. Also, late Sunday night, on TCM they have silent movies and I LOVE them. They're usually dramas, and they're so good!

I hate holidays, weekends, and long weekends - I find the transition to be difficult for me. Can't make appointments, things are closed or close earlier, TV shows are all different, people bother me, I would rather everyday be the same day, no holidays and no weekends.

I like my weekends when I'm working (middle school teacher), and the time it gives me to "recover," and get ready for another week. But...when I'm home for extended periods, I tend to waste my time, and get actually a bit depressed. So the stucture is good for me. As for holidays...well, I'm alone, since my one daughter is overseas. I'm like a "fifth wheel" at gatherings, and a bit out of place, usually feeling slighted afterwards. I think this year, I'll try something different...maybe take a trip? or go volunteer at a homeless shelter.

I especially like weekends when I'm having a stressful time having to work through problems & having to talk to people to resolve things in my life......all those places are closed on weekends & I don't have to worry about what I need to do next.....even though I should focus on working on my house.....I usually take time to catch up on sleep because the rest of the time I can't shut my brain off long enough to take my sleep meds & go to sleep.....so by the weekend I'm exhausted & the 3 day holiday weekends are the best because I get an extra day to rest & sleep.

weekends are just the same to me as weekdays - i do pretty much nothing all week and then have a weekend of nothingness to top it all off. Its like an uneccessary extension. Tv programming usually sucks on the weekend too...

Weekends just have a different feel to me. I know nobody is going to badger me about my debt on weekends. The phone doesn't ring and email is quiet.

I get to sleep late on weekends. Not setting that alarm is precious.

TV is rubbish on a weekend but if hubby is home, I like to cuddle with him while watching TV.

I enjoy not cooking on weekends, usually BBQ-ing if hubby is home, or if money allows, we'll get pizza or whatever.

Weekends are good. Always a reason to feel good!

SLEEPING IN!!!!!

Like someone else said, not setting that stinkin' alarm clock is precious!

Unlike Sabrina who doesn't cook on the weekend, weekends are when I cook. Am too tired to cook during the week so make up for it on the weekend.

extra time to cuddle with my fur babies. The cats and I have Sunday Snuggles each week.

I get to ride my horse on weekends. Again to tired and get home too late during the week.

Rest and recharge my batteries....

Weekends mean nothing to me because I work in retail and my days off vary all the time. Most weekends I work and my days off are split one day here, one day there...rarely two days together.

Right now I do have my weekends off, so I like not having to set the alarm clock. If Mom has other weekend plans for me that may not apply. Not having to shower or brush my teeth or comb my hair...
