I was just laying in bed hanging out before I get up to go to my uncle's funeral (sadly). I love just laying in bed and being lazy. It makes me appreciate the little down time I have.

Anyhow, what do you guys do to relax and unwind? Listen to music, meditate, go outside, exercise? I thought if we can get a master list going that maybe we might be able to try some new techniques.

Have a good Monday everyone.

Good One!

It seems to vary with the type of mood I am in, among other factors.

Music
Exercise- usually a walk or run with some crunches
Reading- if I can focus
Online Time
Walking on the beach early, late, or off season
Hiking in the woods

I like lounging about in bed too - i could sleep all day if i didn't have more restraint I love really long walks as well - find a big open park, listen to some music or an audio book and enjoy all the beautiful scenery. Coming back to a big lovely bath tops it all off rather nicely i think. Then maybe a glass of wine and a good film. We all need to give ourselves more days like this i think, great post doggie

I take a valium and listen to the radio. I then drink a bottle of pepsi and I feel like I'm chilling out with a beer like a real man.

When I'm down I go for a walk and listen to music. When I'm angry I go out and run till I get very tired.
Thanks for this!

Lots of things:

I hang out with my pets, maybe take the dog for a walk and take some nature photos. Play my guitar, or listen to music with headphones on. I play video games, garden, do some exercise, draw doodle or paint, write in a journal about my thoughts and feelings. Deep breathing and meditation, hot baths, all that good stuff.

I used to go on vacation, to the salon or spa. Call a friend and have a cocktail, sit on the beach and watch the waves, or go for a swim.

Now, I just take a pill, sleep, and hope when I wake up, I am feeling better.

I mostly listen to music, sing sometimes, play World of Warcraft and mess with the dopey dog. I'd say working out but that actually pumps me up lol. My favorite thing is when it's cool out I make a cup of hot cider and sit in my backyard. Also being in bed with something to read is pretty relaxin' . All simple things.

Ripping around on motorcycle with no direction but my own. Making art. In winter I walk in the evenings. 40 minute stretching routine 3/5 times a week.

Walking in the rain or snow. Dressed accordingly of course. Anyway I'll be heading out in a few minutes. It be pzzin' from the heavens. I like the solitude. Bicycling in the elements is great too. Winter walks coming up...the first snow and I'll be out. Peaceful to me even when it's howling.
