I'm a bit irritated.

I wanted to go to a highschool football game to see Dusty play Varsity today, but I was told no.

I swear she made up an excuse to not take me.

I told Mom today and she said I needed a ride.

I asked my one and only friend Maddie, but she was out some where else.

THen it was back to mom who said, "Well I've already made plans to go see Kyle. You should've told me earlier. Maybe next time."

Kyle is her boyfriend by the way.

She already spent the night at his house last night! It's ********!

Not to mention that last friday she fought with me and told me that I couldn't go to any football games anymore.

I'm confused.

She also makes my friends pick me up and drop me off where ever I go, she barely does it, but when she does do it, she complains about how it's waisting her time and how much she's doing for me.

She makes me feel guilty like it's always my fault for making descisions.
I guess it must be!

The only thing I can suggest is that if your mom says it's okay to attend games... then, next time you make arrangements in advance to have a ride to the game. Best I can do

That's pretty rotten since you DID ask her earlier today. Seems like Mom is a little self-absorbed and should be payiing a little more attention to you. But me-thinks that her boyfriend is probably somewhat "new" on the scene, and she's enjoying his company??? Maybe if the boyfriend wasn't so "new" she'd be more willing to do things for you.

I wish I had some answers for you, but I don't. Is the school a long way away? Any chance you can walk? I know that's not cool,, but .........

Maybe next time make arrangements EARLY with a friend to take you,, huh? Parents can be a real drag. My parents NEVER took me anywhere. I had to walk or I didn't go. And it didn't matter if it was winter either and I live in Michigan

Best of luck Krasno -- and God bless. Hugs, Lee
