okay... so anser the pole question what is your overall opinion of christmas

I love Christmas, but ever since my mom passed on Dec 20 - this will be 6 years - I find it a hard time of the year as well.

not a fan..braving long lines in shops to buy the right presents, mediating between fighting relatives, too much food .. it was hard work even before i had anxiety

I love Christmas, it has been a nice few Christmases with my family since as far back as I can remember. My sister's birthday is around that time so that makes it exciting for me as well. I do enjoy it very much.

Christmas increases my anxiety .. It brings back all the bad memories from the past that I cant get rid of. There is no joy with this season for me at all.

Its known as "giftmas" in our home and the kids get spoilt - which they just LOVE.

An added thrill, is the mother-in-law is joining us this year. Can everyone tell I'm super-excited

I didn't vote because none of the answers really fit me. I have mixed feelings. I used to love the holidays..decorating, baking, picking out just the right prestn for people. Now, I'm the only one left, plus it's not a religious holiday for me like some. I have moments of overwhelming sadness being the only one left. Miss my mom something fierce.

I haven't decorated etc for the last several years. I decided I'm going to decorate, put up a tree, do some baking this year. Not going to go all out like I used to, but am going to do something.

Not a big fan ... Constant trauma and drama during childhood, adolescence and early adulthood is why ... Not to mention all the hype, greed and materialism ... I still like the music and the lights though ... If a little snow falls, that's an added bonus ... Other than that, I don't get overly excited or too involved ... Peace & Quiet for the season works well for me ...

I could seriously list at least 20 reasons why she's annoying. Thank goodness she's only here for 6 days. Guess who bought her return ticket

that is 1 thing that anoys me the most about christmas... kids are so spoilt- and don't give second thought to people who are not so lucky
