I'm making a social thread.

I'm struggling with fitting in here again. I feel as if I don't know anyone anymore! Which, considering how long it has been - I might not know many of you.

So - come say hello to me I'm Mandie. Pleased to (re)meet you Tips and suggestions on how to re-integrate to the community most welcome.

Yes, in 2010 I unfortunately had to close my account due to a real life friend snooping on me here. It was an unfortunate situation that originated outside of Psychcentral - and frankly was a bit of a wake up call for me as to some of the people I was calling friends in real life. So I closed my old account and started fresh to keep my privacy.

Thankfully, those people are not in my life anymore - and I can say that the friends I have now are much better friends

But also great to see some names I don't recognize - new friends are always a great thing (especially here, because most people on psychcentral *get* me and *understand* me where others don't) and I'm happy to meet all of you

My life has taken many twists and turns since I joined PC in 2006, and I plan to do up a post outlining and explaining my journey. I am once again tackling my mental health stuff - this time, with a totally different perspective and method that I feel good about

One of the things I do alot is isolate. So, I think that's something I must push through and be more of my friendly, outgoing self.

Which means thread parties, and interacting, and games, and loads of fun stuff
