That I am learning more about why I am the way I am. It's becoming a daunting task because I keep unearthing more things about my that are all screwed up! No wonder I just wanna take my ball and go home.

I'm grateful that it's a beautiful day. And that I have a dad who helps me out with stuff, like getting furniture. It's so hard trying to do everything alone. I'm glad I've left that life behind (for the most part).

The next two days off work. We don't often get two days off together. They are usually broken up in the week.

My family. I couldn't get through anything without them, especially my husband and kids.
Also, my big brothers sarcasm, he never fails to make me laugh and reading back through some of the texts we've sent each other over the months gave me a much needed giggle last night. For example when I text him to say I'd gone into labour (last month), he replied "wow, and I'm on the toilet so know exactly what you're going through" lol I don't think he knows quite how much I adore him!

I fell last night banging up my knees pretty badly on a step. Though I could hardly walk last night that they swelled so much, I am thankful today that there was not more damage this morning. I am grateful that the ice last night helped, that the swelling is gone, that they are only stiff and sore but functional, and that they are just black and blue with the cuts.

I am thankful that i made it through the day, that my new care co-ordinator seems nice, that the cab that took me home was quick to arrive and had a nice driver, and that i have the chance for a lie in tomorrow as i am exhausted after two looooong busy days!

I'm thankful that I made it through the last hour using my recovery tools. I used to shudder and sneer whenever anyone used those words around me. But now I'm so grateful that I've always paid attention, and that I've been doing the work. Really saved my *** tonight. It's nice to know that I no longer have to rely on other people for every single thing.
