My girl kitty, who is just about the sweetest creature God ever made. She is positively beautiful. And gentle. And genuinely caring. She breaks all those awful stereotypes about cats, left, right, and center. She checks on me several times a day. What a honey.

I am thankful that now there is absolutely NO reason for me to continue to feel conflicted (and guilty) about trouble in my relationship with my step monster. She has proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that she is an ignorant, vicious, miserable, bitter, malicious and horrid little person, and has also vindicated everything I felt, thought, and feared about her.
Now it is all behind me and I can move on, and never waste another second feeling like a bad person because I didn't "love her" enough, and feeling as though I should love her in spite of all the harm she's done to all of us. It's finished, it's done, I never have to go back there again; and I feel enormously relieved, truth be told. |
