may sound materialistic of me.. but I am thankful for the dishwasher, cloth washer and dryer..... I tend to forget-- I grew up with out this stuff (because we simply couldn't afford it)... and I have it now, it helps a lot.. I should get to doing the easy folding and put away though

I am thankful for the ones that haven't given up on me, that encourage me and are still around to give me a hug or pat on the back when needed.. or just talk to me still.

I am thankful for my S/O and Mr.Boots....

I am thankful i guess in away, though i never say it, that i never succeeded in what i tried so hard to do at one point in my life. At least i have tried to grow from it all.

Believing what is truth and what are lies, forgetting the distractors and not being upset with things I can not change.

My mental diagnosis wasn't as bad as it could have been, and my pdoc is even going to let me cut down on my Klonopin to see if it's a culprit in my memory problems.

(I can't count. Well, I know that was two things, but they do go together.)

i hope all goes good for you

yes benzo's can cause memory problems. i was on klonopin for 10 years off and on and finally got off for good cold turkey until i almost died so it took months (but then i suffered benzo withdrawal syndrome and so it really took years for all effects to go away and it was hell) id say my memory was 25 percent working and now maybe 40-50 percent. (but it could also be the combination of anti psychotics, stimulants,.anti seizure, ambien and other tranquilizers, high blood pressure, anti depressants, other benzo's, etc lots more meds and the way id over take them and also my addiction to alcohol plus how much i drank and all the alcohol with the meds and my stint for a few years i had with pain killers that i got addicted to, otc sleep meds like nyquil, marijuana and coke, for a while too, ...... so now i feel what's the big deal but I'm getting older so i don't want to ruin my brain and health anymore regardless if some of the damage is irreversible. i just know that wake med is the worst hospital ever! did i mention i went from 230 to 120 pounds in 2 years because i stopped eating bc i wanted to be thin so.... i think i started to become anorexic... i can name more but I'll stop at,that

people .especially the young people.... don't do drugs, don't smoke, don't drink, be careful getting on certain meds and if u get on then take em as prescribed, eat healthy, etc ya know.. seriously take care of your bodies

life might be boring and lonely at times, dealing with the past is hard but it feels good being clean... don't know who can relate but glad those days are over AND I BLAME THE DOCS FOR MOST OF IT BC IT ALL STARTED WHEN I WAS PRESCRIBED AND THEY KNEW ABOUT MY ALCOHOL PROBLEM AND THEY NEVER ENFORCED THESE THINGS AND THEY KEPT GIVING THEM WHILE I WAS IN A NIGHTMARE FOG INTI I,.YES ME, I CHECKED MYSELF IN TO A HOSPITAL NOT A DOCTOR THE DOCTOR JUST WANTED TO CHANGE FROM THIS OR THAT AND ETC THEN QUIT WHEN MY MOTHER THREATEN

so anyway

i still eat junk food but that's all i can afford.

I have memory problems also with zopiclone (Lunesta) and topiramate (Topramax). It sucks.

Today I am thankful for the sleep I got after my doc's appointment.

I am thankful that

1) My badge worked at least on ONE door that was really needed.

2) The carrier guy, was really nice- He helped with the doors - He did not have to, and yeah I guess it was a trade off-- He had to go pee, and I needed help
