Hard work and innovation pay off? I found out today that I am getting a merit raise and I was added to the senior IT bonus program (I won't see the bonus until 2014, but that is okay )



*Before reviews we were all told pay increases were not happening, due to the economy and stuff

The new, "normal" T can see me tomorrow instead of Tuesday...which is really good because I think I was going to burst if I had to wait.

His office has amazing art and furniture in it tho, which is great...but I almost need like a whole session just to look at everything.

I came across someone who was as persistent as me. Despite the landmark being out of business.

I finally had a nice long sleep. I guess my body finally is playing catch up.

Well, nothing has happened today because it's 1:19 am *lol* but yesterday my crush gave me the best hug ever

I am going back to day shift next week...I should be happy but I am losing the night differential....now that part sux!

I've had a pretty rough day, but when my husband called from work, he made me laugh. I appreciated that.

wow am still getting recognition for my 60th bday last fri. have really been surprised and grateful w the outpouring. Feeling very blessed, loved, and somewhat unworthy!

One thing good about my day... is I have tried to make the best out of it and be less anxious about things... remind myself what I can control, and what i can not... and just try best to be positive...

Working today was good. Feel like I've done something constructive.

The weather has been very pretty.

I am so thankful for this weekend and time off, I cannot even tell you.

well.... I spent about two hours talking with co-worker at work, that is on another team-- Sure- i did not understand all the technical terms, but I get the base idea--- but it is pretty neat what he is doing, and if it works out-- I really do hope he gets the recognition that he dutifully deserves for the hard work he has put into it all.

lol then we started talking about our families which was just like a ***** fest for us both

I am so happy and relieved right now!

There had been something that i really wanted all week, and it just looked like it wasn't going to happen.
But there was a way that i could get something that was similar, but not as nice.

Anyway, i decided that i would go for the 'not so nice thing', and put my coat on and shoes on, ready to walk out the door too get the 'not so nice' thing...and i got an email saying i could have the very thing i wanted!

Yes, that's probably very confusing to someone who has no idea what i am on about, but it put me in a very good mood
