AJ sorta half agreed with me. Which is true, you can't set a time limit when folks get hungry.. SO after an hour of "I think you call it talking it over" but I don't think that is how it went cause tempers were flaring. SO I said well ok.......... you all can eat when you want. I know how "boys" get so hungry all the time....... Just when there are special movies I want to watch at 2AM, I will watch them UPSTAIRS on the big screen tv.. omg you would have thought I said something awful by the look on AJ's face.......

I "figure" nobody cares if I am disturbed at 1am, I might as well join in the fun by watching tv upstairs at 2am... sounds good to "only me"... but geee.... you can disturb me and I can't disturb you... now that isn't fair, is it??? Seems the "boys" understood my watching tv at 2 am would disturb them.. Yet it wasn't important that I was "disturbed' at 1am by them wanting to eat.... hmmmmm Gonna get me lots of popcorn for those 2am special movie nights at 2am....

Worked through my shift with no water. That meant no ability to wash dishes at the deli, and no toilets working. Called the manager and he told me to use bottled water.

I thought people were not supposed to work in a place without water. The city water mains broke severely just outside our grocery chain and they were working at it all night. Just got water back a few minutes ago. (Whew)

AJ, wanting to make peace with the renter, gives him a $25 cash card to get pizza at 7-11 which is about 4 blocks from here. So what does the renter do.. LOL....
He buys nachos for himself, nothing for AJ and thinks nothing of it.. SO the renter uses AJ's money, buys food for himself with AJ's money, lol.... and doesn't even say thank you.. ANd he leaves AJ flat being he didn't get the pizza.....

I used the very words AJ said to me. OOO the renter doesn't know any better. ANd he was too hungry and he could only think of food.. And that you should not be so upset......p eople get hungry....

I do believe I've lost my mind.... I don't even understand why I was so upset with the renter and why
I let him get under my skin....... lol........... thinks I just need to laugh more .... and stress less... and
watch tv at 2am upstairs....

btw even tho I felt hungry at 4am I did not find the need to run to the kitchen and cook food or even grab anything to snack on. I just drank a glass of water and went to bed.......

Isn't that crap just so infuriating? Cats often get worms by swallowing fleas. If you are living in a highly infested area (meaning lots of fleas living outside) you can bring one or two or whatever in on your shoes, etc, that can turn into a flea circus on your little furball, unbeknowst to you. I know though, it sucks and seems so totally unfair.
Thanks for this!

For RF: I understand the situation, radio flyer. Might I suggest some wireless headphones? Some times they go on sale, and are very practical, & keep the peace nicely.
Thanks for this!

Am busy catching up on Hugs & Thanks from when I couldn't be here.

I must also say, I am so grateful for the 'clear/calm' days. It's such a good combination.

That is a great idea, MuseumGhost. I even suggested that the renter
buy wireless headphones or ear plugs when he was complaining that my tv was too loud. He said he did not want to do that. SO AJ stood in the renter's bedroom to hear how loud my tv was and AJ could not hear my tv. Renter sort of has this "thing" where he wants to "tell" me what to do, and that isn't happening.. I don't even use an alarm clock anymore because it bothers the renter.. SO I try... Is his turn to try...

I'm tired being the one to look the other way and conform to what others want. Look if a 34 year old man can't follow one rule or not be considerate of others to stay out of the basement at 1AM, hey I can be a problem too...

To be honest, is much more fun irking the renter than being irked by him. I kind of like "being the jerk"..... Sure beats being upset by those who are inconsiderate. I don't get a tummy ache when I am inconsiderate...

anyway... good suggestion... thanks

Oh I know you meant the headset for me. Just when I suggested the same thing to the renter and he laughed at me, I guess the idea of me using headsets is funny too.. I'm tired being the nice one.. I'm an old lady and being nice pretty much did not do a whole lot of good for me. I don't want to be the "nice one" anymore. I want others to figure out ways to get along with me.. And if you want to know the truth... being is jerk is much more fun..... this old lady likes it big time

Hmmm... might as well take this chance to hopefully catch some people who're struggling with self-harm*; if you're not struggling with it, then this won't apply to you:

http://forums.psychcentral.com/self-...ml#post3063612

I've been sharing that to whoever I can. xD Spontaneous moments of wanting to help people, are kinda nice.

* it could apply to other MH issues, such as OCD and depression

We had a 5.2 magnitude earthquake this morning at 9:43. It was followed by a 4.1 aftershock, ten minutes later.

I woke up a few minutes before it happened, because I sensed something. What a surprise!

The "perfect" side of my family makes me sick. I should not look at my cousin's "fashion blog" online because I literally feel like I might hurl. All they need is a white picket fence.
I want out of the family period so I don't have to deal with their happiness ever. My b-day is coming way too soon and I usually have to go over there...my b-day wish is they ignore it and keep going to their fashionable brunches and blogging about it because I really need to know about the sandals and dress she wore that day and how great her new dog and her husband are.

truth is, sometimes i miss being back in the hospital and not having to deal with what the outside world brings. but at the same time that's lonely because i value freedom.

i feel so lost...

Word to the wise.....

If you drink a large bottle of water while in a hour long meeting.....make sure you do something before you leave work instead of trying to wait until you get home with a 45 minute drive.....

Life just keeps me on my toes.
I am so distraught I don't even have the ability to talk about it. I am just shakin my head and not believing what I am going thru...ridiculous! My finances are just a wreck, and that always keeps me feeling like lifes biggest loser.
No wonder I am lonely. I am such an attractive package...emotionally and financially unstable, works 6 days a week, pudgy around the middle, desparate for acknowledgement that I am doing something, ANYTHING right.
Oooo yeah...I can't keep the ladies away!

Today was my son's birthday. For the first time in a long time I cooked his favorite meal of fried chicken, mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. It's all been take out or going out or frozen stuff except for making pancakes or boxed mac and cheese sometimes. He and Mom ate it all up. I wonder sometimes where have I been, when did I quit doing.
