I usually don't notice it, so I'm usually able to ignore it, but I don't know if that means it could be tinnitus or what.
Sounds like a mild case of it (tinnitus) - in my case it's more of a high pitched beep - and tipically nothing else in that ear, but due to a bad case of "recruitment" (a condition where hairs that send sound signals to the brain die, that set of tone frequancies get re-assigned to a different sound hair, so now both sets of tones are amplified) once in a blue moon I do catch mostly base type pitches in that ear, but it's HARDLY useful - see because of all that recruitment, if I hear anything out of that ear, it's too loud to stand!
But the tinitus if not too noticeable as long as there is a LITTLE of some sort of noise, but the quieter, the more noticeable tinnitus is - but too much noise is bad too due to recruitment.....Cruel joke really.

I recently discovered on my cable a network
that only shows the classic tv besides the Hallmark channel.
I live in Washington so I don't know what channel for those of you
who don't reside here.
But channel 74 shows:
Emergency 1972-ish show about 2 paramedics starring a young Kevin Tighe
Mary Tyler Moore- I still love that show & her friend Rhoda
The Bob Newhart Show- The one that starred Susanne Pleshette
The Odd Couple
All shows I grew up on & still love. It takes me down memory lane
even though memory lane wasn't so great? I could escape watching these
shows.
Now days? TV is just plain terrible. Nothing but stupid reality shows!
Who works at the TV networks anyway? Fraternity boys?

Too much of anything isn't good. But TV has its place as a distraction.

I actually like the smut, gore and moral ambiguity of Game of Thrones (both the books and the show) Life isn't black and white. Good guys do terrible things and bad guys are redeemable.
