What did you do today? (Daily events)

Well I just wanted to start a thread to find out everyone's daily activities.

Mine was very eventful.

Well first off my friend ditched me at the last minute so I was all dressed up and nowhere to go and so I decided to go to a bar, where I struck up a nice conversation with a handsome gentleman. I never talk to strange men at bars but I just said to myself "what the hell, you only live once". So it was a very interesting day. My sister's birthday is today so I am about to go out on the town again and celebrate with a 20 year old! Should be fun.

So what did you do today?

I'm really speaking for yesterday now, since it's 1:42 am, but I slept most of the day. I had to get up and take my mom to the doctor and do some grocery shopping for her, but once I got home, I crashed. I sleep so much lately. I had a doctor's appointment the other day and she said it's probably due to my psych meds (which I figured). She told me to talk to my pdoc. Thing is, I don't know if I could go off the meds (probably the Celexa, I could), and it's taken so long to get to where I am now, but I don't want to sleep my life away. I could easily be asleep now, but I wanted to try to keep up with my email and these boards, so I need to "check in" every couple of days, at least. I didn't even get a shower I really need (because of my OCD, not because I stink), choosing to try to take one in the morning. But that's highly unlikely; I'll probably be too tired and choose to take it at night, after we've gone out. However, I like to be fresh and clean when I go out on the weekends, so I hope I can get my butt out of bed and shower. I considered taking one after my boyfriend woke me up a while ago to eat, but I ended up being too tempted by bed.

I worked, came home, called around for heating oil prices, passed out, woke up and went hung out with my best friend.

Its 6:46 am and now I am going to bed! I went to my sisters party after the bar earlier and then came home and was so wired! I watched Star Wars, District 9 and Along Came Polly back to back.

Time to get some shut eye!

Today I started one of my dogs on a strong flea treatment. I've seen her scratching, and she's developing bare flaky areas along her backbone, rump, and both ears.

My first step was Adam's spray on the naked patches. Tomorrow I'll do Adam's again, plus a little medicated shampoo.

And I watched the Alamo Bowl and saw UT win the game! Then we had Subway sandwiches as a 'celebration' supper.

Came home from work, took a 3 hour nap, took a nice shower, have been reading and posting ever since. More later.

Thanks for everyone posting on this thread and keeping it alive! I just ate breakfast and slept most of the day, because I plan on staying up late tonight to watch the ball drop in Times Square on tv. Right now I am just chilling out on my laptop watching Xena Warrior Princess and posting on Psych Central. I'm in a pretty good mood actually

I did nothing today but cough and cough in bed. Today has been so lousy, I have been so sick! I hope I get a little better to go to work tomorrow.

I had to return an item to a major chain outlet store, but because although I had received it yesterday the holidays made it difficult to get what I required. Their policy is the invoice should be printed from the service web site and used as reference. They can not print the page that shows what was bought and how it was purchased. It was a wasted trip. The sheet of paper that has information on it that came with the ordered item is not an invoice. Plus I still would have had to order it because the item I wanted to exchange it for was not in stock in the store.

Today I took down the tree and put away all of the decorations for the season. Well...missed a couple of pieces by mistake...but generally it is all packed away again.

I finally went to Walmart for "provisions," since I was down to peanut butter and crackers! Spent almost $200 (not veering from my list),and then came home and worked on art rocks!

Was sick ALL day today. Went into the old chats I used to visit often, got bullied, now I can't sleep because I am thinking about it. Made a thread about it to make myself feel better. I should know better than to leave PC!!!

Battling this cough is murder though.

Hoping I will be able to go to work tomorrow.
