I am very confused by this phrase. When I was working our office was business casual and I wore t-shirts and such to work. But I don't think that is truely business casual. Now that I am an officer of my student organization on meeting days I have to dress business casual WHAT IS THAT?! My wardrobe is that of a typical college student jeans, t-shirts and tennis shoes. On Sunday I wear the same or non logo shirts with skirts to church. Every once in awhile I wear hose and nice shoes but for the most part I wear my black converse knockoffs with my skirts. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Business casual would be some version of a polo and khakis. Kind of a slightly more formal jeans and Tshirts. Maybe some semi-dressy pants and a nice cotton sweater or something. It's in between "jeans and Tshirts" and "a conservative suit, hose and heels." Business Casual

Non-jean pants that don't have tons of pockets, skirts atleast 4 " longer than your bum cheeks, shoes that are not runners, sandles, slippers or boots, and a shirt or sweater that doesn't show your sexual magnatism.

up from jeans, down from suits..... it's a class/code thing, the beginning of playing the business game, passing messeges from across the room, ahhhhhhh, the world is a stage, we each must play our many parts....... good luck. I'd hit the thrift stores myself....
