What are some feelings from your childhood that you miss as an adult?

Playing on the playground.

Going for a bike ride with no particular plan in mind.

Having friends who liked you, just because.

Riding downhill on a sled, going super-fast, and knowing you're going to get right up and do it all over again---then, hot chocolate afterwards and thawing out your frozen toes and fingers

Laughing til your stomach hurts

Running through the sprinkler & enjoying watermelon in the shade afterwards---and then running through the sprinkler again to get all the "sticky" off.

Each and every new realization that the world is full of magic

When my Dad brought me home a kitten (it was a total surprise, cuz he really knew how badly I wanted a kitty; I was about 8), and let everyone know it was MY cat---that was amazing.
