I know there is lots of support here, but i am looking for some form of support group that i can belong to that will help me help my son cope with the loss of his son to adoption, i don't know how he is going to feel as this he goes through each step, i know each day can vary as he is adhd and struggles with this, but any suggestions would be gratefully received

I wish I could help you. Adoption can be so complex.and such a painful situation to navigate.

I dont know if there is a forum here on PC. I do know of some really good support groups, though, that are available here in the states (I was adopted and the agency my parents were involved with provided support groups). Also, I know of some support groups with Ts facilitate through their practice for adoption issues.
Have you checked online to find a group near you in Cornwall?

Hugs to you and your son. I imagine it must be very difficult to give up a child for adoption. My heart to yours

Please feel free to write if you have any questions for me

I did find the sites referred to below.

Birthfather Links and Reading

They have all sorts of links and information there worthy of checking out for your son, determining which might be more helpful than others for him.

Below are some groups online that are devoted to birth fathers as well.

Yahoo! Groups

A Pocket Full of Hope

Very best wishes to you & your son.
