I love coffee. I buy a canister for 4 dollars it lasts for 2 weeks. I do like to buy a cup at the convenience store because they have all these additives like creams and such. Those are 2 dollars, so only on Sundays.

I don't drink coffee because I'm paranoid that it will stain my teeth, plus, I've heard that tea has a lot more health benefits rather than coffee.

So instead of drinking coffee every morning, I drink green tea with ginseng and honey

I like the taste... at least, I do if it's not crappy coffee. I absolutely HATE the smell of old coffee. I don't really drink it, though. I'm not up for staining my teeth. That, and it makes me too jittery and I hafta go pee within 10 minutes of drinking it. So, I don't typically have any coffee. Every blue moon, I might have a small cup.

I'm a black tea drinker. Where I live we have a wonderful source for teas from around the world. It is called TeaSource. My preference is for 1st flush Darjeeling's which have a light & "fruity" taste to them. I enjoy coffee occasionally (black.) But I can't drink much of it. Over the past few months I've begun to have emotionally-charged dreams. And it seems that, when I drink coffee, I have more of them. And the dreams I have are more intense.

does it make you feel jittery ?

I have anxiety issues which can make me like that, anyway, and I think jitteryness is pretty common with enough caffeine.

are you unable to sleep if you drink one or two cups?

Depends on the strength of the coffee, and the size of the cup.

does it make your anxiety worse?

I think it can, yes.

how much do you drink daily?

Daily? Zero. I used to drink it alot, but I don't really bother with it, now, ... it's there, just in-case I need a shot of energy, but my bladder doesn't seem to like caffeine, so I'm on decaffeinated drinks.

do you not feel awake until you have caffeine in your system ?

I imagine that's what happens when you become addicted to it, which I'm not, so nope.

what time of the day do you drink coffee ?

Obviously not in the evening, but anything else goes.

what do you take in your coffee?

Two sugars and milk.

how much do you spend on coffee/sugar/milk in a month ?

I have no clue. A coffee container could last me years.

would you ever give up drinking coffee and switch to tea?

Already do drink tea - decaffeinated tea, peppermint tea, Earl Grey tea, and Camomile tea. I started off on tea, when I was a lil kid, so I'll probably always be a tea drinker.

if you are not a coffee drinker, why do you chose not to ?

Because it's not good for you, or at least, not good for me.

I've worked in a funky old cafe as a barista for 11 years. So...coffee is a big part of my life. And I love coffee, especially espresso. For many years I have drank a lot of espresso, every day, with no problem at all. Well, sometimes it made me sleepy. Since I had a major breakdown a few months ago, though, caffeine began causing me to be extremely anxious/agitated. I have had to switch to decaf and I avoid caffeinated teas.

I'm not a coffee drinker, never cared for the taste. I rarely need caffeine to get me going, but I have occasionally had a Diet Coke or Coke Zero in the morning especially if I've been awake really early.

Sometimes when I go out for breakfast or stay at hotels I feel discriminated against because they don't offer free juice

I love Coffee. It's not the best for my anxiety, but I love it too much.

Coffee is a big deal for me. I love the flavor, smell, holding the cup. I make it at home and use it as a ritual for thinking and kitty time. Sometimes I listen to the news too.

I have several coffee makers, some of which are nice enough to be stored behind glass. The auto coffee maker hasn't been used in a couple of years. I take making it seriously.. Grind the beans. I have a water kettle with a spout designed for pouring over grounds without pushing them to the sides.

Recently I got an Italian stovetop espresso maker. The result rivals Starbucks. It's a vev vigano. Quality matters but it is much cheaper then you might think to get a single or double. Then I use a frother for the milk. I was really surprised at how well it works.

Despite all this fuss I generally only drink one mug a day. Except my last job which I hated and needed the boost to make it through the day. That was Starbucks

I don't feel jittery. I only have 1 cup in the morning so it doesn't affect my sleep.
I take cinnamon vanilla creamer and a little sugar in mine.
Not sure how much money I spend on it though. Not much, like I said it's only one cup in the morning.

coffee does nothin to me, although i tell myself that its supposed to keep me awake so i guess i trick myself into believing thats true.

i used to always drink soda. always, too much, it was disgusting. i drink juices and tea and water now only, but with soda for certain foods (gotta have soda with meat).

i personally *prefer* to only have coffee with an actual breakfast. the whole package. if i dont cook a proper breakfast then i try to avoid coffee.
