Do you think animals, such as dogs, are more human than humans themselves?

The question is, yes, vague, but you can use any other animal as an example beside a dog, though I truly believe that dogs can have a good human heart

I was a dog walker/trainer in new york. I would say they can be a lot more logical and compatible than human beings.. but words also make us human. it is the main language we go by now, and it is stripping us of our humanity but could it really ever be any other way???

I can't really answer the question, but this question reminds me a lot of the song, "The Animal Song" but Savage Garden.
Especially the lyrics, "Animals and children tell the truth, they never lie. Which one is more human, there's the thought, now you decide."

They are more honest and more accepting. I find it easier to trust animals than humans.

I don't know what "more human" means, but humans are human and animals are animals.

Perhaps what you mean is, "Do you antropomorphize animals to include more positive human characteristics than you would attach to the human beings you associate with?"

For me, the answer to that is "No". I Love my sweet kitty and he does adorable things, but he is a kitty and he does kitty things. I just happen to like what he does. But he is most certainly not more human than a human being. He's a kitty.
