NEW ON THE BEST-SELLER LIST
Hardcover Fiction
#4) The Shape Shifter
By Tony Hillerman
Lt. Joe Leaphorn, a tribal detective, tracks down an antique Navajo rug with a complicated history.

if you like mysteries, these are excellent. a navajo cowboy gave me my first one, in 1989, on tape. the first time i went on the rez and recognized a landmark from the book was so exciting! the author is really a good writer and most importantly, honors the Indian culture. i recommend reading them in chronological order.
