I am a girl and I love to be kissed by a rough five 'o' clock shadow. Biggest turn on ever. It's a bit gross when a guy puts his mouth other places on your body though and then you can taste it in his beard. Facial hair, love it or hate it and are you a girl or a guy? Not only do I just plain like the look of facial hair (I love the Viking look), it also signals to my female brain that a guy wearing facial hair probably has adequate testosterone coming out of his balls or he wouldn't have grown the facial hair in the first place. Lol. What are your opinions on facial hair?Facial hair on guys, love it or hate it?

The reason why you like facial hair was hilarious! I know I'm too "young", but I like my guys with facial hair. To me, they're just mature or grown-up (I think the word "mature" sounds way out of context when it comes to me). And I'm a girl~ BTW, is it weird that I fall for older guys around their 30's-40's?? O.O I hope not! XP

No, I have a serious daddy complex too, even though I'm 27, I like older guys because they look like they could "daddy me." And since guys mature slower than girls, the older the better. Men get better with age like fine wine (until their late 50's that is and then...well, it's more like the way bananas age after that).

I'm 33 and I always loved older men and facial hair. I absolutely adored my ex when he grew a beard. I love that look on a man! Yum!

I have a goatee, but won't grow a full beard. I did once and was trimming it when my wife looked at me with a horrified expression and said, "Shave it! Now!"

Seriously, I'm not kidding. This is what I look like with a beard:

I even went as Captain Spaulding for Halloween once and received multiple requests to go home and take off my makeup!

Its probably the high def, but a little mustache shadow on some women on tv - esp blonds - will make me crazy. Ill be like - does nobody else see this? Are the makeup people asleep? IRL its kinda cute tho!

I prefer a smooth face to snuggle with. I don't care for the abrasive feeling of them.

Me too, the smoother the better, but I don't want baby faced or bum fluff either.

Beards add a level of hotness, but I prefer to feel a smooth face.

As far as appearance, I think a five o'clock shadow looks ok. But I think a guy with a face that looks like a bristle brush looks homeless or like he does not care. If a beard is grown out far enough to look smooth, but not long enough to be scraggly it looks good too.

Ahh, Marshellette! A good facial beard is hard to find, especially if you really do like the Viking look (bluegrass look? He is so busy solving quantum equations that he cannot take a moment away to tend to his grooming?) instead of a mere 5 o' clock shadow.

I admit, though, I have no idea if I liked a nice, full beard first...or if it's because of my hubby who has a substantial beard, and I kind of like him. And I have grown accustomed to his face.

Before we had our daughter, who is now 10, he would not have grown it to its "this beard should be discussed in public by anyone who cares to comment" length, but when it was getting shaggier last summer we may have pleaded with him to grow it a bit extra.

And extra long beards do extra fun things (and not just in a nether regions way) They can store various items you find around the house (pencils, forks) which provides endless amusement for a curious kid.
Thanks for this!

I will have to go with some stubble. It's nice, in a way.

Depends on the guy. Some look good with facial hair, others not so good.

Depends on the guy, and it depends on the style of facial hair.

My husband and I are 50-ish, but we've only been together less than ten years. I've seen pictures of him when he was younger, and had a mustache. I think he looked hot with it! Pant, pant, pant! I'd love to see him grow it again, but he says he got tired of it, and now he doesn't want it.

Tom Selleck of Blue Bloods does it well, I think.
Facial hair on guys, love it or hate it?

He always has, dating back to his Magnum PI days.
Facial hair on guys, love it or hate it?

I never was into Don Johnson and the whole permastubble thing. It just makes him look like he rolled out of bed late and didn't have time to shave. If a man has facial hair, I like it to look like it's deliberate.....

...but without going to Duck Dynasty extremes. We mow lawns and tend gardens rather than let them get overgrown with weeds and underbrush. Therefore we should also groom ourselves, instead of getting all scruffy just because "it's natural."

I HATE facial hair! Im male and I had laser treatment to get rid of that hair. Itchy, rough, gross looking up close (all those black specs) All the money, time, stress shaving and it keeps growing back....eekkkk.

Lol. Funny thread. xD Since I'm a guy, does that mean I have to answer whether I like women with facial hair? Bring on the beards, ladies! Sexy stuff. *smirk* Also, I have a full goatee and long hair, which I think looks quite cool (when I trim the beard and stuff) but since I'm not A-sexual, I don't really have an opinion as to whether I find it attractive, ... plus I'm straight, which does away with that possibility.

An ex of mine hated the beard, so I got rid of it, ... even got rid of pretty long hair! The things we do to appease the opposite sex, ... ¬_¬

I think we're all agreeing that a little is ok but long is too much.
