I think I developed a movement disorder after taking Zyprexa 5 mg and Vistaril 100 mg. Is there anything that can be done? I already stopped the drug and have been taking Benadryl but when I went to my doctor he said, "I've never heard of this," and didn't help me. My eyes constantly twitch and when I try to drift off to sleep my legs kick out.

I had a problem when my pdoc put me on thorzine before I had my neck fusion.....think he thought it would help with my level of anziety.....like total overkill.....& I was taking compozine at the time for the migraine nausea.

All of a sudden, I couldn't even walk into the bathroom or feed myself with my own hands & for some reason I remember that I couldn't even lay normally in bed.....I had already separated from my H but was having to live in the same house & needed him to help me walk to the bathroom. I would end up sitting on my bed all day while he went to work with was about a 12 hour day with driving......& as soon as he got home....it was like get me to the bathroom.

Finally went to the walk in clinic & they asked what meds I was on.....they only caught that one of them could cause that problem.....2 weeks later nothing changed......went to my neurologist I had been going to before the neck fusion....& he caught the other med.....allowing it all to get out of my system took over 1 month.....& very slowly,,,I started to be able to walk again. That was the scariest thing I have ever gone through so I can relate to how you are feeling.....be patient...it takes a long time for these drugs to get out of our system.

I know I've heard that some times it becomes a permanent problem....hope that isn't the case for you
