There is an Anxiety forum here that you can get help with information regarding panic attacks and such. You can meet alot of people there and through out the forums. Hello welcome to Psych Central. I am going to leave you a holtine number to call in case you would like to call someone to talk to in person 1-800-273-TALK. Are you seeing a therapist at this time. Seeing a therapist is a good start for the recovery process to start. a good therapist can help teach you different techniques to use during a panic attack, and there also medicaiton that is helpful as well. Take care Sincerely soidhonia

I will be seeing my therapist on the 26th for the first time and I'm currently taking 0.5mg Ativan for panic attacks. But my attacks are still strong and quite frequent. I just don't know what to do. Sometimes watching cartoons helps. Sometimes it's talking to my friends and family that helps them go away. I just want my life back. I hate the feeling of everything being a dream or not real(sometimes even the de ju vu thing).
