Does it bother you too?

I am used to being ignored.

And even though I used to work professionally with statistics and found it interesting, I actually have never bothered to look at the stats on any of my posts.
It's of no interest to me. Perhaps it is a function of my age.

All right I am feeling like I better post something right or wrong. I know I have been known to check and see if I got any responses from my posts. And I am a little insecure so I would have to say it does bother me a bit, but I get over it pretty quickly. I figure most of the time I have a hard time figuring out what I am saying or feeling so I imagine others do too. So everyone is forgiven for not responding.

Could it just be the sheer level of traffic here? This is the most hugely-populated and widest-ranging forum I've ever been on. Prior to this I've only been on a few small invitation-only boards, where it's far easier to keep up among fewer threads by fewer people. If I find a thread I can relate to here, but can't think of an immediate reply, I have to bookmark it; if I don't, many more threads have usually come in on top of it by the next time I sign in, making it hard to find the one I was after.
