You clock in, and toil for what seems like an eternity in order to stuff the pockets of a parasitic owner. Then you see your week's check, reflect on just how hard you worked for that meager sum, and realize hopelessness of life.

I'm an artist now and forever. I can't afford to waste my prime years toiling as a working class drone. Even if you're not an artist, it is still a waste of life and talent to live like this. I hate being working class. It is destroying me.

I couldn't agree more. Honestly, in the time I did work I often found myself in the exact same financial troubles I do now and I just felt a lot more exhausted is the only difference. We're told that it's our duty to work in order to help our government, economy, etc... but no one out there is looking out for us and they'll take every opportunity they can to bleed you dry.

The worst is being so horribly depressed and miserable that the idea of spending another day working for someone else's benefit puts you at a serious risk and they just go around calling modern people lazy. We're not lazy for the most part, we're sick of being walked all over.

Well, yeah. Its always been this way. You know van Gogh sometimes ate his paints he was so hungry. Don't expect anyone to feed you because you are an artist. If you want to be fed while you do your art you have to own the means of production. Your best options are to inherit from your rich father or to engage on bloody revolution. Inheriting is easier. Bloody revolution is made ontentionally a lot harder woek than whatever you are doing now. Good luck with whatever you think will work for you.

It is wrong to have people work 40+hours per week and barely survive while multi-millionaires and billionaires leech off their efforts. Capitalism is wrong and anti-human any way you look at it. Anarcho-communism may be the only reasonable solution. However, it requires that each citizen is self-aware, intelligent, and enlightened. This, unfortunately, will never happen.

Yeah, I hate that conception of everyday working the same boring job for years like a dron, 'till you die! It's inhuman that while you doing that, you're barely able to pay your bills. At least you live in USA. In my country some people work 50-70 hours a week. You need to take matter in your hands. Don't stop looking for a door out of it!

Location doesn't necessarily have anything to do with it. We have people in the US working that many hours. I know quite a few. You are absolutely correct, though, in taking matters into your own hands, no one should have to work like that to make less than ends meet. I would absolutely love being able to live off the land somewhere. I don't mind the work, so long as I'm actually reaping some of the benefits.

Working class? You mean slave class! Owned lock stock and barrel by the corporate class.

I used to think that way until I couldn't work because of the bipolar, and my husband lost his job. I do understand, though.

I don't really understand what you mean. I apologize that you can't work because of that. I can't work because of numerous factors as well.
