Eaglegrafix, it sounds like you have a very interesting story inside you.

Thought I'd have a wife and kids by now. Guess I would have tried to put myself out there more.

I never would have came back to my home town. Maybe things would've been better.

At 18 a very good friend gave me five years to live. I agreed. Now I am pushing hard against fifty!

Still fighting depression and BP, but a LOT of good things have happened along the way.

Happily married. A small house in the suburbs with two kids who would be in high school now. I would have a part time job and be active in the community.

I imagined that I would still be in college. Knowing what I know now I would have taken it a little more easy so I wouldn't have been so stressed out leading to a mega breakdown and dropping out.

Between 14 and 20 I didn't think a lot about the future, I lived in the moment. Something I'd change a bit, try and envision a future where I might be alive and have a future.

When I did think about the immediate future I saw myself graduating from the U designing and furnishing my own houses along the lines of Frank Lloyd Wright.

The future was amorphous and by 2000 either we would end up in WWIII or a Star Trek like world where mass transportation was free, money would no longer be the driving force and space travel was a given.

One thing I never forcast for my self was getting married and having a child--- maybe that's why it didn't work out?
