I've been looking for a word that means the opposite to nocturnal.
So far I've found diurnal, but apparently this isn't used very often. So, is there a more common word? There is also crepuscular to describe animals who active at twilight. I like that one. Any thoughts? Ta. |

That would be diurnal. I don't know of any other words that are used more often.
If you're talking about someone who works best in the morning you might say early bird. |

Maybe we could make up a word like "dayturnal". It might just catch on.
