I bought an expensive bedspread from Europe off eBay. Just got the tracking number and it won't arrive until Jan 12. I'm just dying

OOh lovely! I got my own tablet as a Christmas gift, delighted with it. Im actually wondering what to do with my old laptop now, i might offer it on my facebook, see if anyone wanted it. I wouldn't want money for it, it's kind of old and slow.

I once had to order a hello kitty duvet set online, i couldnt get a double size one anywhere here (maybe cos they're meant for kids lol) I think it cost more for the postage cos they're so heavy!

Later I have to buy toothbrushes. My exciting life eh? I wonder now should it be teeth brushes. I have way too much thinking time...

I bought several patterns and tools for quilting and for making for gifts. I love to make things to give.

OMG eBay is awesome for Hello Kitty stuff!! I bought pink & purple flannel pajamas (ok, immature, am over 50). Pricey but they helped motivate losing a few pounds because I gotta wear them

Don't encourage me! actually the first thing I ever bought on ebay and the reason I got an eBay account was hello kitty boots! I'd seen some in a shop but they didn't have my size. I have everything Hello Kitty!

I got these yesterday, top 3 are for me and the bottom 4 are gifts for my favourite band who I'm meeting soon. My mam asked who they were all for, i said oh just people. She'd think im off my rocker if she knew im buying them gifts. She'd probably be right though lol!

Edit: since it posted upside down for some reason, the bottom ones are actually for me.

I am not much into retail therapy. Last November I bought for myself a couple of discounted Jamie Oliver mugs with my shopping coupons. Then then it got into my head that the design looked like bandages and then they creeped me out. But all good, cos they ended up being a chrissy presents.

I've been doing too much shopping on the internet. I started staying out of stores because I was spending too much only to switch to online stuff.

So far, it's been relatively small stuff but it adds up. I've bought quilting patterns and tools. Day before yesterday I saw someone on PC refer to a Tangle Creation (Tangle Therapy ? Tangle Creations) and looked it up and decided I had to have one and so did my daughter. She's a school counselor and I thought the kids would like it. Anyway, I bought two of those that I didn't need and that will probably lay around and gather dust. I just haven't figured out how to reign myself in.

I really like online shopping because it gives me satisfaction at the time and then when I get it in the mail.

I went kind of nuts yesterday. Lol My running shoes had holes in them, and since I started working out again I needed a new pair. Thank god for Big 5! $40 for a good pair, plus $7 for a padlock and $14 for a drawstring backpack to keep my gear in. :-)

Aww hello kitty. Aww eBay. I once bought a cat tower or whatever those carpeted things are for scratching/climbing and even with shipping it was cheaper on eBay than pet store. The bracelets are cute!

I'm kind of overwhelmed from European bedspread purchase. FedEx called to say it passed Customs but I need to fill out a reporting form for them to release it. Will do that today.

BUT I DID buy fancy eye cream from Amazon. Used it last night. Better work I need some youth here

Just bought some stuff on Amazon, will post pics when they get here. I got a Marilyn Monroe T-Shirt, some Adidas wind pants, a lil Bub plushie and Lil Bub's Book.

For my mom I got her a Valentines card, a plush Hello Kitty valentine beanie baby, and am going to get her a box of chocolates when it gets closer to Valentines day.

Yay this thread is revived.

My pricey European bedspread got thru Customs etc and I slept under it last night. Yay.

I "bought" cosmetic facial treatment yesterday. A little puffy still but not hurting.

Coming from Amazon:

LED shoplight for working outdoors at night
Soft moccasins to replace my ratty slippers
A flannel nightgown
Hilfiger 300 threadcount sheets.

I got sweettalked by sales rep at Anna's Linens into buying microfiber sheets and they're awful to sleep on. People criticize shopping and shoppers but the proliferation of fads and crummy products can make anyone over-consume in search of a satisfactory item

I'm getting two more tattoos on the 11th February!

Just a tip, if you wanted to post the stuff now you could save the pics from amazon and post them. Or if you'd rather wait and post them all in one pic that's ok too!

How was the duvet, comfy?

Ooh I love tattoos but never had one. I have a design picked out for my leg if I lose enough weight for it to look good.

Weeeelll...My fabulous duvet is based on animal product...as in FUR! If you're interested, message me (assuming I can even figure that out) for a pic. Might offend others or even you for that matter. I'll figure out posting the inoffensive product pics. The outdoor light, eye cream, Mocs, pretty good stuff.

Wish I could wear those cute necklaces. My whole family suffers from stubby necks and hands. It's kind of funny. Definitely into ear piercings and jewelry though. Oh, oh, oh. I put a deposit on cheap tiny diamond studs...2 pairs. Coming someday ? through the friend of aging jeweler in our hamlet.

Well I'm a vegetarian so I'll probably pass, but I won't hold it against you either like some might.

Im actually allergic to most jewellery which is why I only wear cheap stuff now, but I'lljust wear it like for a day out couple of hours, before it has a chance to affect me. No point in buying expensive stuff in that case though. I bought a cute little tin to put them in as well.

And last night I bought a ticket to Halestorm concert!

I'm not really into piercings, i have my ears done twice since I was a kid, but I wouldn't bother now. The guy I love has a tonne of them though. I love tattoos! (He has a tonne of those too) I have 11 now. I also have the next two after the next two planned already, lol, that will be 15.

Bluebird: love the Monroe tee. Never saw a lil bub before. What's your new tattoo of?

BeBrave do your tats have a theme?

If/when I get a tattoo it will be a Celtic tree, maybe white ink, upper thigh.

Haven't been to pop or rock concerts in ages. Saw American Sniper in theater today. I want to see Monster Truck Jam when it comes round this month .

I bought a couple light color leggings to jog at night. I wear a reflective vest and feel silly.

Hi LindaLu, my the tattoo I got a few days ago is in memory of my cat jack who passed away a few years ago. It's a black cat with green eyes sitting on a moon with some little flowery designs in it, I'll put a pic up once it heals
