I have a small dog that likes to jump over my flower bed (little fence) fence and dig! Grrrrrrr

How do I stop my dog from wrecking my garden and still be able to see my flowers?

You have to make him not want to jump all over it somehow. Some kind of discouragement. Hmmmm... I'm sure one of my dog books has something on this. Although, Fay will probably come in and have the answers. Dog vs. Garden... Who will win? (((((Fay))))
I'll look in my books for you anyway.

You may need to get a higher fence...one that you can see through...or a picket fence...they always look pretty with flowers...good luck...!!

OOO i know this answer....lol but i dont know how to spell...Kiann pepper (Sp?) anyway...the pepper is really hot....and keeps alot of animals..dogs cats bunnys from gardens and grass (if you dont want other peoples animals pooping in your yard) because the smell burns their noses and they stay away from it...its like if we eat spicy food....it really works..my mom used to keep bunnies and my cat from her garden...good luck

Do you have a terrier of any type? Those dogs are just following thier instincts, not much will stop them! There's this book: The Good, The Bad, & The Furry. It's a really fun book that talks about all the positives and negatives of certain dogs and things that just can't be overcome.

Fay doesn't know. Dog vs. Garden... Who will win? Because Fay had a Scottie one time and learned her lesson about small dogs and flowers. Now i have a male dog in the backyard and have wisely planted all of my flowers in the front yard to avoid having them peed upon 45 times a day.

I am planting container things in the back. A man gave me a really groovy homemade smoker (made out of ornate porch railings) and I am planting in it. No way Teddy Jack can pee that high. And I have a rusted swing set, without swings, that I hang plants from....

I have a Terrier! I'm 5'4 and my dog can jump up on a table that comes up to my knees. I guess I'll just have to watch my rat when she goes outside.

you could make the fence higher or his legs shorter, whatever is the easiest! Dog vs. Garden... Who will win?

She is already short enough! If she were any shorter she'd be a mouse terrier! Dog vs. Garden... Who will win?
