Finally it seems like things are falling into place for the move.
Still tons of work to do but today I made serious progress, I think with packing and some cleaning. And thank goodness I have someone coming over to help me with it all. I am pretty exhausted so maybe I will sleep tonight. Hopefully I won't wake up this morning feeling foul and hopeless like I did today! Mornings are rough in benzo withdrawal.

So I wanted to thank all my buddies here that have supported me through this and continue to. I think I've had quite enough aggravation to be paid up for this whole move and I pray that the rest of it goes smoothly. It is supposed to rain all weekend but I don't care, at least it's not going to be hot!

Thanks again friends...

I am pleased to hear that you have received such fantastic support here on Psych Central ForeverLonelyGirl.

I vouch the same for me. The support I have personally received here from members has been pretty overwhealming.

How often is the weather right when it comes to rain?. May your moving go well and the breakages be minimal. Sending good thoughts your way.

The move went WA Y better than expected. It felt like such a burden was lifted when I got out from under that horrific landlord and that "dungeon". It was dark and holds lots of bad memories.

I am getting settled in here and liking it more every day. Cooked my first big meal today too.

Now I just am praying that the ex landlord does give me my security deposit back. The move cost me about $800! That I didn't really have. He owes me that amount exactly. He is now putting me off another week about the walk through to "assess the damages" as he put it. The place is perfect and heknows it! I went there 3 times this week to clean and touch up paint even. I video taped the whole place. He has no valid reason to not give me my deposit back.

The way he treated me through all this was ridiculous. If he does not give it back promptly, I am going to become his worst nightmare! He enjoyed talking to me in a demeaning manner, plus threatened and intimidated me about everything.

I now have a super sweet landlady...really nice, what a nice change!

Again thanks for all the support!

Congratulations on making the move!! I know that it wasn't easy at all, but you did it. I hope that your former landlady gives in and sends your security deposit back to you...pronto!
