Wow ... I have just been chatting to a new South African guy at work, and I remembered JUST how sexy I find that accent What ACCENTS do you fall for?

One of my best mates is South African / Corsican, and his accent ... is divine. He lives in Oz now but I used to be able to listen to him talk for house (lucky, because the boy never shuts up :>)

Anyway, I started thinking about what else is attractive.

My list would include

* Saffas
* Irish (not rough indecipherable Belfast, the smooth and sexy ones)
* Brasilian / Argentinian / Spanish types

I also quite like that East Coast of the USA type one.

What do other people find hot ... (just hypothetically, of course :P)

My theory is accents is how less attractive men get laid / partnered up.

My mother's family is Irish, and the women are all beautiful, but the men - well let's say most of them leave a little to be desired :>

However, they're all partnered up with gorgeous women (both Irish and Kiwi for the most part).

I have no choice but to attribute the lack of birds of a feather theory to their voices - they sound so hot.

A nice Scottish accent (not a Weedgie / Glaswegian one) can do the same trick.

Being of scottish decent, I do find the sweet rolling accent of the Scots as music to my ears.

The other one is Romanian.....whether they are speaking their native tongue or speaking english...the words roll around their tongue and come out with the sweetest most passionate flavor. I could listen to my husband talk all day and night *sigh* What ACCENTS do you fall for?

My downfall is a thick southen accent or an english accent.
