In honor of prom season, I want to remind everyone that PROM IS NO BIG DEAL.

If I recall, I believe the roast beef tasted like a comforter, the DJ played 32 Billy Idol songs and a few from Bananarama, and my date stopped talking to me by 9:15. I did, however, get some laughs when I yelled "Play Freebird" when things got quiet.

Good times.
Thanks for this!

High School in general was time best spent elsewhere. Loved college though!

I was invited to prom but I declined. I don't dance and it costs a lot to get a suitable dress. I don't regret not going. There are other things I wish I had done while in high school but prom isn't one of them.
