Most of us feel better when they get something or just speak with specific/close person. what makes you feel better?

I think I feel way better when I speak with someone about random and fun things for long time, although sometimes i get bored fast from socializing especially with same person, I love having long lasting entertaining conversation.
Being lonely is actually what makes me get depressed if not life events.

My cure to feel better is working on purifying my soul "as much as I can".
I know it's strange and I don't even get it why remembering every moment I was abused and emotionally humiliated motivates me to be a better person. Perhaps it seems pointless since I am completely lonely and surrounded only by sadness. I lost all hopes when it comes to socializing, but just the feeling that I am a better person than yesterday makes me feel better about myself and my own little world.
It's also a bit disappointing because I am not religious at all, so I am not expecting rewards from a supreme being, although for some reason deep down I feel like there is something out there who knows even my intentions without the need to talk, someone who is soo kind and too fair.

I am sure one of the reason why I lost hope when it comes to socializing is not only that people don't care about me, but also it's my fault as well, because the fact that I had to deal with a lot of shhh in my life made me a little bit cold, besides the physical symptoms of my severe anxiety are horrible. It makes me look like a complete joke.

Really same with me
but I'm religious and I can assure you that God look after us and whatever we suffer from is for something. it also can be to make us get closer to him and ask for more help to be rewarded later.
when I met my online friend my life changed really a lot and I became so happy, then now when she disappeared I feel sad again and lonely, in case she won't come back, well here I'm back here to this forum, maybe for something else important for my life?
God only knows whats better for us, we just keep going and hope for best.

I feel better when I can talk to someone about my hobbies or their hobbies. Also, I feel better when I'm being creative.

Feel better when I can get something/anything done.
Just folding clothes, emptying trash or... A shower...
Suppose I don't need to talk to someone as much as most people?

Whenever I'm sad, depressed, or feel like crying I listen to Careless by deadmau5 on repeat until I feel better.

Cream of chicken soup made with milk, poured over small oyster crackers. Has to be really warm with a lot of coarse pepper added. That's the only time I ever eat the soup. It makes me feel better.

I feel better when I've done something productive with my day, usually because i have a hard time feeling motivated enough to get dressed in the morning, let alone achieve anything.

Regular exercise stabilizes me.
I can let interactions with people lift me up, but people are unpredictable, so I think I should deaden that. It leads me to long for things that can't happen.

Usually I get stressed because all to-dos. Getting some of them done will calm me, but I also don't really have the energy. I hate pacing myself, I hate doing "stuff", and I hate not having it done.

LOL.

I have found that the best way to cheer myself up is to cheer someone else up.
