Bacon is another one of those simple things in life that make the day better.

I was at my local butcher today getting some steak for tonight and he had to cut some for me. While I was waiting, he offered me a piece of bacon. As I humbly accepted his offer, I figured I could one-up it and said "who turns down free bacon"? But alas, he snaps right back with "no one I know". Touche, sir!

We cracked up.
