YES! GET BACK INTO IT! Seriously though ... YES! If it was fun, do it. Writing is cathartic, it's a creative outlet and who knows, you might be the next Stephen King. So write away.

(In answer to your OP question, I write myself. I haven't been able to get any of my novels published, but that's just the way things go.)

Lying monsters are a real nuisance: They are much more cunning than others. They pose as humans even though they have no understanding of the human heart; they eat even though they've never experienced hunger; they study even though they have no interest in academics; they seek friendship even though they do not know how to love. If I were to encounter such monsters, I would likely be eaten by them... because in truth, I am that monster.

I write a lot. I write in my journal at least once a day, and sometimes more often. I have two blogs that I keep going. I do a weekly topic write-up to get discussion going on another site. I find writing really helps me cope with things.

Yes I absolutely think writing is a wonderful tool whether you're writing a blog or in a personal journal. I've done short story and humor over the last 30 years...mostly for family and friends. I write in between therapy sessions or just for my own personal pleasure! Go for it...

I also write. It's a great feeling to get something off my chest through a story.

I write. I used to write a lot, just to do something or finally spit out what I've been thinking. I suggest you start writing again. It can help you learn things about yourself, be a creative outlet, and above all it can be a very fun & rewarding hobby.

Some of the amazing things people write on here are so helpful and inspiring. I've started too, after about 30 years of not doing anything since school. It's great! Helps me feel I can control at least one thing, the stuff I put on paper.
