Hello everyone, i'm not super consistent with sleep but in general I will get around 9-10 hours of sleep but sometimes it can be more?
Also the times I go to bed and get up are not super consistent either. But in general I will go to bed after 11pm and wake up after 8:30am
Thanks for this!

Wow thats a lot of sleep. Good for you.
I wish I could sleep it seems I can only get about
four solid hours a night and then I toss and turn the rest
of the night.

Wow, last time I got 9hrs of sleep I'd just gotten out of hosp from having pneumonia!
If lucky get 4hrs solid, sometimes get a nap sometimes not.
And, that's with taking klonipin 2mg at bedtime.

Sleep is critical to good health (mental and physical).

I get 7 hours per night.
Thanks for this!

Lately it has been a lot. Since late yesterday afternoon I have had 14 hours of sleep. My sleep has been very sporadic. I can't seem to stay awake these days. I get bored and just go to sleep. I take 2-3 naps during the day, and still sleep at night. I used to have insomnia but apparently not anymore!

Usually 8-9. I used to stay up way too late, but fortunately I managed to stop doing that.

I hope you can get more hours of sleep, because not getting enough sleep is bad for your health?

I'm guessing that those of us on the forum who don't get enough sleep, is due to medication or insomnia?

CrazyLo: i've done that once or more over the last couple of months where I just go to sleep because I was bored. But I don't want to do that and I won't do that. Actually I don't know if it was due to boredom or something else, like hunger, anyways >__>

I 'sleep' for around 9 hours. Generally though I'll wake up around 4-5am then again at 6am & will only doze until I get up just before 7am.

I was on Adderall for 7 years, and recently had to stop taking it because stimulants can make mania worse. When I was taking it, there was no way I was capable of taking a nap during the day. Now, off of it, it's as if I can just fall asleep on command. I don't know if it's depression but I just feel so blah and bored all the time...I really have nothing going on in my life right now...so napping feels like the best option. And I love sleeping (just look at my profile page description lol).

I usually get 4 to 6 hours of sleep. I'd like to sleep about 8 hours, but I usually wake up after around 4 or 5 hours.

I generally only get about 2 hours of sleep on school days,
Considering my insomnia makes it difficult, and I must wake up at 5:00am to get ready for school. (High-school)
On weekends, hm, I would say 3 or 4.

I wish I could sleep half as much as some here claim. I typically get 2-3 hours a night, and so far none tonight.

I have brought this up with my therapist and PCP, and they have suggested various techniques, but no luck for 3-4 years. My PCP so far has not given me a script for a sleeping aid probably because of my other meds.

I guess I need to bring this up again, as lately I have been thinking of what I have in my liquor cabinet. And that is something I need to avoid.
Thanks for this!

I usually go to sleep between 11 pm and midnight, and then I wake up at 5 am, so that is 6 hours.

My cat tucks me in at night and then he wakes me up in the morning for breakfast. I don't need an alarm

Sorry to hear that. I know I can't function when I don't get enough sleep. I don't know how you manage.

I usually get 6-7 hours sleep. And lately it has been more erratic due to my insomnia.

I get 8-9 hours of sleep per night. Go to sleep at 2 am, wake up at around 11 pm. Although there are times I wake up one or two hours earlier, which kinda messes with me and aggrivates my derealization. On Fridays I sleep an hour extra.

Seven and a half hours unless it's one of the rare occasions when I get to bed late and have to set an alarm.
