My story is about my ex-husband and his then 2 yr old son. He had full custody and travelled overseas. I suppose it is nice to know people are on the lookout for absconded children but every where he went he was scrutinized for being an adult male travelling alone with a child from country to country. And this despite carrying notorized documentation that he was the sole parent. He missed two fights on account of being detained while authorites got a hold of his Canadian lawyer. In one such case they demanded to contact the mother. A woman who is an addict with no known location. He kept getting detained and separated from the boy. You can imagine the fear.

Oh, it shivers me to see lone men watching children - especially when they play.

Also, it bothers me the current fad of mothers posting pitcture of their children with personal information on social media. Can they be that idiotic?

It's also common on online dating sites where sociopaths roam. Internet needs to be treated like a crowded public space. Why are people including pictures of their children in their profile pix???

Good for you for making sure she was okay.
Even being a woman, I still would hesitate to help, because it's just how people think nowadays.......
Thanks for this!

The little girl must of been scared. I'm glad you helped and comforted her though I'm sorry for the reaction you got!
