How old are you?

(this has been asked by many..99 percent of the time I had the sense to simply not reply )

(I was a tall cub for my age and didn't much appreciate being told how .....? I was for my "age" )

I'm only as old as my "inner child" wants to be

I've thought this many times, and today read it ... Probably not original but worth saying again, I think

Another old chestnut " your opinion of me is none of my business"

(not about anyone on pc)

I've found chronological age has little to do with how old we feel. It's irrelevant.

After 63 years I finally feel my age. :-( until I was 60 or so I felt more like 16. Maybe this had to do with my being bipolar and manic a lot and now that the manic part has disappeared I feel older. It doesn't really matter though. How I feel at a given time is how I feel and that's all that matters.

Fuzzy you are perfect no matter what age you are and it's no bodies business.

heh. I agree, nobody's business and in very few instances is it even pertinent imo. Fuzzy, like you I was a tall tall cub. My brother was too & we were frequently taken for husband & wife when we were still teens! eek. My son is 6' 5" and his friends for yrs thought I was his girlfriend when they would see us from a distance. lols.

I figure since my late parents could never remember how old I was (Daddy had me stuck at 23 for over a decade! haha) then it was so no big deal.

Anyway, today I'm approx 14. Atm.

For whatever reason, I don't really know, I have always chosen not to reveal my age. But I must be honest, with my birthday approaching in January, I am seriously starting to feel .... I don't know ... achey and creaky. My feet hurt when I stand too long. If I sit too long I am hideously stiff when I stand up, my knees hurt blah blah blah. It probably has nothing to do with my age and more to do with the fact that I am seriously overweight and unfit.

I also zoomed in on a very recent photo taken at a wedding and noticed just how crinkly my eyes are! Thought I always looked younger than my age but - I really don't!

Mums the word!

I am told I look a lot younger than my true age. I figure it's because I have great genes, don't smoke, drink, do drugs, have kids, or sunbathe.

I'd lie but I don't want to get pigeonholed into the wrong generation lol.

I am 21 and, more often than I'd think necessary, am mistaken to be around 17. As a result, people either treat me very sweetly or very condescendingly. More so than they would my peers.

I will gladly take that assumption as a positive. ^_^
My older brother oft jokes I've the mind of a thirty year-old.
Imagine, a thirty-year old trapped in the body of a 21-year old, with the face of a 17-year old. Needless to say, it can be frustrating.

Sigh, it will depend on when you ask me. I am a week from my 49th birthday and I don't feel good about it. Most people think I am around 40 - which I am greatful for. And I don't fear aging. What gets me down is that it is yet another year that has gone by since the best year of my life (45) and that I have nothing to show for myself. I suppose it sounds like I'm materialistic but I would have thought I had a house, a job, and some nice things. I lived better as a starving studen than I do now.

I am going to be 32 tomorrow (it's my birthday on the 20th ). However, I've always been told I could easily pass for a high school student, and have constantly been asked which school I go to. I thank my mother for her youthful genes. She doesn't look her age either.

I used to do that! My friend would say, "No, no, no: you're really XX." I'd either make myself older or younger; I never used to keep track.

I can relate... I'm 28 but I could easily pass for 20. The only real give away is my receding hairline...

Both my parents are 70 & look around 60, so it's just a case of good genes. (Well, except for the hair loss part )

Oh and Happy Birthday...
