Would anyone be interested in a social group on here that catered to the Unitarian Universalist walk of life on spirituality? I am interested in making such a social group on here of this, if enough interest exists, that is.

I'm thinking of calling it "Peace House" as it not only represents the overall message conveyed by the spiritual establishment, but it was the name of a real life building my dearly beloved, and late, great aunt bought and maintained as a place for those to stay however long they needed to, so long as they left anything that would disturb the peace and harmony at the door. The reason she did this was that she was nun, who felt it was her calling in life to do the work of her faith and help the less fortunate.

Any interest?

Hello Artchic: Hm-m-m-m... sounds interesting! The Skeezyks is a solitary old goat... not really a joiner... also don't know anything about the Unitarian Universalist perspective. But this certainly sounds like a worthy undertaking... Good luck with it!

Thanks for the response. I was afraid there might not be any at this point. Lol. Guess my idea might not have much to go on.

Universal Unitarians are basically a denomination, in which questions about the faith, what it stands for, why it stands for it, are not only welcome, but encouraged. Also it makes you ask what members can do for all the social injustice in the world. The church believes that not only is there a higher power, but this Divine Force is all loving and accepting no matter what your story, what your walk of life or your individual spiritual path. Those of this church won't ever say some aspect of your being, some facet of your life, will ever prevent you from obtaining further enlightenment and spiritual growth. All are accepted at our spiritual table. Atheists, agnostics, orthodox Jews and Catholics, no one will ever be turned away, for any reason.
