Have you contacted your internet provider?

Yep, you need to contact your internet provider's tech support.

It may be your firewall interfering.

Yes Shattered Sanity, your problem actually sounds familiar. Turned out to be the internet package I have been reduced to. It is affected by weather and the heavy power lines on the otherside of the wall.

Is it fixed yet? What I'd do is to look for the message in Error Console and google the hell out of it for a possible solution.

I think you should choose a different email provider! Do you actually like Thunderbid?

yes. i find it does what i need it to do- it's not too difficult to use, yet it's advanced enough to handle things such as multiple email acounts (big plus for me), and has a really good filtering system. a lot of people tell me i should use incredimail, but to be honest i don't want all that fancy stuff.. thunderbird works- plus it has a password manager to allow me to remember each password on my accounts |
