I say anyone should wear what makes them comfortable

I feel that some things in a partnership should be done for the other person.
If my husband likes me in a particular color, then I would wear it because it matters to him. If I don't like him in tidy whiteys or pajamas, then he won't wear them because I don't care for them. My dad wears pajamas and that's enough for me to be a little weirded out... Same with a lot of things, tangible or not. |

Tell him what turns you off. If you have difficulty communicating that to him or he refuses to make adjustment then you have a bigger issue than pj.

I don't comment on his pjs cos I know he'd take offense. I would, if he looked at me in mine and said the same thing

Whatever is comfortable for a good night's sleep, pjs or not, I am all for that. The only time clothes are not optional is when there are guests, especially with children over. That's can be a real life nightmare.

I said no, but only because my boyfriend doesn't and I like that. :P
But in reality, I'm indifferent. If they're comfortable, that's what matters.

I sleep in my birthday suit. Any sort of bottoms puts my "boys" in a stranglehold. Plus its hot as hell in my room at night.

Living alone personally I sleep in cloths like shorts & a top during summer & sweats & turtle neck in the winter because if there is an emergency in the middle of the night, I don't want to be fumbling around trying to find cloths before trying to deal with the emergency even though I live out in the country far from everyone. That would be me no matter if I was married or not.....IMO, a guy should be able to wear whatever makes him feel comfortable also

I get really cold at night. In winter, I sleep in sweat pants because they are much better than pajamas whose legs ride up. The elastic at the ankles of sweat pants means that they stay down by my ankles where I need the warmth. The brushed inner fabric of sweats is also a lot softer than pajamas. Once I bought a night shirt. It was so uncomfortable that I wore it only once. Pajama shirts often have button fronts which are a disaster if you ever sleep on your stomach. I don't understand what people see in pajamas.

These answers are ridiculous. People whine and cry about women being subjected to wear what the man wants them to wear and yet it's perfectly okay for women to decree what a man should wear because it is or isn't attractive? Double standard much?

I said "yes," but I don't like the old two piece pjs for men.

In fact. He doesn't even know my opinion. That it is my personal preference that he doesn't wear pjs to bed. And he never will. I merely ask here because it's a private forum and wanted to see if anyone had the same views as me. I'm certainly not about to change his dress sense. |

Some medical professionals say that your "parts" need air circulation so they recommend sleeping au naturel.
This is why i dont tuck the top sheet in at the end of the bed. I prefer a floaty duvet. If its really cold, then an extra blanket (or my furs, of course! ![]() |

I voted, sure why not. My husband wears a t-shirt and undies to bed in the summer, and t shirt and sweat pants in winter.
I think the old fashioned button up pyjamas are sexy - after all Clark Gable wore them, and unbuttoning a man's clothes is.....well...you get the picture. I do think I'd find it a turn-off if my husband wore pjs with smile faces or batman images. I'd feel like I was sharing my bed with a 10 year old boy. Luckily Mr. Tiscuit has no desire to wear jammies like that. And I doubt I'd kick him out of bed if he did; I'd probably just giggle, roll my eyes, and give him a cuddle. I thought this was just a fun, light hearted poll, and I was grateful to the op for starting a silly and fun topic. I'm very surprised how many people seemed to take it so seriously. Thanks Crazy Hitch, for injecting some good fluff into the general chit chat forum ![]() |

We do have expectations of men, they can't even be themselves sometimes. We expect them to be masculine, or emotionless, or whatever else, otherwise they are unwanted.

![]() Just fyi, this thread is in the General Social Chat forum. If you'd like to engage in mansplaining, I believe you blokes have an entire forum of your own for that. If you would like to have an intelligent discussion on the damaging effects of gender constructs, then there are places on the forums for that as well. *mic drop* |
