I came to this site to gain support but most of what I receive here is the same thing I receive in the real world. Very liitle support and being told I am doing "whatever the subject of the day is" wrong.

I came here as a place to find support and how to deal with my depression at the time. So far it's been good and as with all things involving people, it has its ups and downs.

I came here to meet other parents that have children with severe MI. I found that plus I ended up getting support for my own issues of anxiety and PTSD. I like getting and giving support and have made a few friends along the way.

I've used this site for years as a source of mental health info, both to understand myself and also to learn more in general. I finally joined recently because I wanted to do more with this site, to meet people like me.

I became desperate about my isolation and hallucinations. I needed an online community in the worst way. PC is exactly what I needed and I spend most of every day here.

I hope that I'm sometimes helpful here too. I'm so grateful for DocJohn and all the moderators who keep the forums free from spam and other types of noise.

I came looking for information, ideas and support dealing with my ex-daughter in law. To many friends and family where giving me advice that would have only made things worse.

I've learned some I've met some great people and I enjoy it here.

Gosh it was awhile ago but I think I googled "bipolar support". And I'm so glad this forum came up!
