we have all done this as a kid (even now), stuff we shouldn't have eaten or drank, but we did anyway

does anyone have some stories of strange stuff they have put in their mouth?

some of mine are:

clay

a metal key (spat it right back out)

an entire science experiment drank from the test tube itself

small peace of gravel
Thanks for this!

Gross flavored jelly beans. xD My mate gave me a handful of them and didn't tell me what they were! I assumed they were regular jelly beans. I shoved the lot in my mouth... it was gross. x_x

When I was little I swallowed a staple. I had to eat bread balls.
As an adult, I tried pickled mangoes, the most disgusting thing I've ever tasted, unless you dilute it.
Thanks for this!

One time when my parents were having steak and I took the bowl and drank up all the juice, which was cow blood. I also liked to drink blood when I got a boo boo.

As an adult the weirdest thing I've eaten was cow stomach lining, lobster corn dogs, alligator.
Thanks for this!

Mustard sandwiches. Wheat bread, with strong mustard on it. Nothing else. Made my tongue and nose burn. Had another sandwich, because this is what one does.

Bugs of unknown origin that flew into my mouth, I was on the back of a motorcycle (about 13 yrs old) had a huge smile as the wind blew my hair. Learned quickly to only grin!

I've had shark, deer, and rattlesnake as an adult.
Thanks for this!

Interesting what some consider weird. I've had pickled pigs feet, venison and frog legs. Won't have listed either as weird.

When I was two I ate all sorts of odd stuff - cigarette butts, potting soil out of my Mom's plants, dog bicuits. Turned out I was horridly anemic and eating weird stuff trying to get iron.

Would armadillo be considered weird?
Thanks for this!

Fried frog legs are really good! I've had deer but that's fairly normal I guess. Have had squid and octopus

Out of date orange juice. So out of date that it was a black jelly.
