Well I've had this name for years - one of two i use. I really like Tori Amos's song Icicle and the violet part.... well i guess i'm just different. people associate blue with ice. My ideal winter (mind you I absolute hate winter) scene is the sun setting with the multi colored sky's violet reflecting off the icicles. so i just kinda added them together...

Icicle icicle
Where are you going
I have a hiding place
When spring marches in
Will you keep watch for me
I hear them calling
Gonna lay down
Gonna lay down

Greeting the monster in our easter dresses
Father says bow your head like the good book says
Well I think the good book is missing some pages
Gonna lay down
Gonna lay down

And when my hand touches myself
I can finally rest my head
And when they say take of his body
I think I'll take from mine instead

Getting off
Getting off
While they're all downstairs
Singing prayers
Sing away
He's in my pumpkin p.j.'s
Lay your book on my chest
Feel the word
Feel the word
Feel the word
The word feel it

I could have
I should have
I could have flown
You know I could have
I should have
I didn't go

Icicle Icicle
Where are you going
I have a hiding place when spring marches in
Will you keep watch for me I hear them calling
Gonna lay down
Gonna lay down

Sorry. awdunno is my username somewhere else. prime23: 23 is a prime number. It's my favorite prime number because 2 + 3 = 5 and my first, last, and middle names each have five letters. I used to think it had some mystical significance. The coolest thing I know about it now is that I recently found out that John Nash's favorite number is 23. In his case it is because he once thought there was some connection between him and Pope John XXIII.

this sure is one cool thread! wickedwings is something that i saw a picture of in a magazine with an artwork of a dragon with cool wicked-looking wings. i'm a visual person and love to look at art, so that's why i ended up as wickedwings. not only that, i do have a wicked sense of humor if i'm not too depressed.

Rainbowzz has several different meanings, and has evolved since I was about 14.

First, it was just because I loved the colors of the rainbow... anything bright and colourful made me smile. Then I came to realize that it represented the many different "parts" of me all playing a role in creating something beautiful. And thats how i think of it now.

Mine is the Latin root of my given name (I think, have never studied Latin :-) I wrote a third person poem about "Perna" that was really about myself, etc. I've always loved "secret" names that you're given that only you and your mentor knows, etc.

I was Tryin2bme when I first came here. Because I was still learning about myself.

I finally got to a point where I figured I would always be trying to learn about myself. And I needed something more uplifting.

So when the going is good. I feel true to my new SN. Sweet Sunshine. But when I am down.. I guess you could say I feel like Moon Shine? hmmmm.. guess thats a nice way of putting it anyways. har har.

Spaz, because I can be a big spaz, my aunt called me that when I was younger and my friends called me it in highschool. My fiance told me today that he's never known anyone as klutzy as me (after I managed to hurt my hand quite badly shutting the shower curtain this afternoon). A few weeks ago I also caught the bony part of my ankle on the cat carrier, THEN the cat attacked the very same ankle as I was writhing in pain on the carpet, and then 5 minutes later... you guessed it I caught my ankle on the cat carrier AGAIN!

Katt, for a part of my real name. Some of my SN's have 17 at the end, as I was born on March 17th!

I love hearing how everyone chose thier names and SweetSun I'm glad to find out that you were tryin'!!!

Muffy was my dog. one I resuced. WHen I got him he was 13 years old weighed 2 lbs. He could hardly walk. Looked like a little lamb."hence where the sheep came in"
We all loved that dog. Before he passed on he wieghed almost 10 lbs. We took him to the store every day.
Everyone loved him. He had a personality all his own.
We have recuced many animals. Never had the whole family connected with one like we did muffy!
Sorry this was so long.

PinkSoil started out as my AOL screename.

I had been really into astronomy and was reading how on Mars, the sky is pink and the soil is red.... so I tried for the name "PinkSky" but that was taken.... so I modified it to "PinkSoil" lol. It stuck and became my user name for everything... plus I love the color pink... in fact, it stuck so much that my mother-in-law started calling me Pink a couple years ago, and she has ever since.... and when my husband is telling her something about me, he always refers to me as Pink. lol

What is the meaning of your username?

I think the avatar explains the froggy (that's Ms. Froggy) part. As with most frogs of little brain this is my picture on a "good" day. I'm either someone's mother-in-law or their worse nightmare. I'm mean how many frogs that you know go out in public with their hair in curlers and wearing a bathrobe.

As for keb......
except for Hubby who insists on calling me wifey (hearing aid is in off position) and my children (when forced to acknowledge genetics) who call me Mom, I'm keb.

And you really don't want to know the rest of the story.........

I so love the timberwolfs most of all cos there hair is all puffed out in winter. They have the smallest earset of all wolves.

Was talking with a friend from MI, while we were talking I said something that he replied to as 'You're bad' then eventually was "Like the antichrist" where he finally named me 'Prada' because of the movie "The Devil Wears Prada". Since then I have found that I like the fashion(albeit out of my price range)..

Mine is a very simple explaination also.....I own, or maybe I should say I am owned by 11 american eskimo dogs.....the love me & I totally love them......thus the eskielover. I actually found eskielover being used once, so added the 11 after my name because that is how many own me.

It doesn't match my pics & siggy however because I am also a huge horse lover so that is where the blending of the two loves come it. I have 3 horses....all looking pretty much like the one that is running.......& have to say that my 3 year old horse, I have been posting about since the day she was born.....she is having her 3rd birthday tomorrow (Sept 23).

That explains both my user name & my siggy.

Mine is simple. I am a musician. I started playing the clarinet at ten, and played all the way through college. After a long layoff, I started playing again when my daughter was learning it in junior high school. B-flat is the key most clarinets are in. My name is Gary, so...

My story is very dull. I used an animal name and password on another Web site, and since the number of passwords is so large it's becoming hard to remember, thought I would use the same ones here. Then I discovered that my username would not be the same as the login name, and I had to quickly invent another one. I picked a somewhat weird animal name on the spur of the moment. Later I uploaded a picture for my avatar; if I had thought of that picture to begin with, I would have named myself anteater. Anyway, both the picture (the anteater is being shocked -- ECT -- I stole it from elsewhere) and my username are a bit "off" as I am.
