Christina,

Only if you completely miss the classes is it bad.

What does everyone think?

Love,

EJ

LOL EJ!

I believe my first class is the 5th. I'm volunteering for an oncampus student centre on the 4th, so I'd assume they wouldn't allow anyone to miss a class (since I will be a mentor for new students, and answer questions from them and their parents as well)

Perna:

I am doing mostly distance studies also, but, I do have one French course on campus. That starts on September 5. My four distance courses are War and Aggression, Families, Economics and Women's Studies.

I go to Ohio State, and we start back rather late in the fall...

I think the first day of classes is September 19. I'm not sure if I'm going to go this quarter or not... I'm *finally* getting to see a psychiatrist for my bipolar disorder for the first time on Sept. 14, and ought to be starting on new meds around the same time. So we'll see how that goes...!

I've actually only got one more quarter till I graduate! Thus far I am signed up for a class about how gender & race are portrayed in the mass media -- that's to finish up my Sociology degree. Also taking a Yoga course... that's just for fun...

1 quarter! You're so close - must be exciting to almost be finished.

Thanks for the encouragement When is everyone going back to school?

I'm actually pretty nervous about it. Don't know what my next move is gonna be, and I'm afraid I won't be able to handle having a real, full-time job. The real world scares me...! When is everyone going back to school?

I have lost my drive for my studies. I am nearing the end of my program and obtaining a degree and I just want to walk away from it all. I don't know why I get this way when it comes to finishing things. I think I get anxiety of final judgement. Final exams, job interviews, ending something that has been a way of life for five years. I get anxious over these things. Anything that involves somebody else's opinions or judgements of my performance.

I must conker this problem or I fear I may just walk away from my degree and leave it hanging as "Incomplete." I get impatient for the work place and an income again. This will be a challenging school year.
