I was in Montreal with my dog (and husband
![]() I speak very little french so I didn't pick up on much of the conversation at all. Basically the boy and his mother came over to pet the dog, and the boy didn't want to leave. He kept talking to us in french, and then his mother was trying to get him to leave. She kept saying "Au Revoir Bougeone" and then doing the whole fake I'm leaving now thing to try to get the kid to leave, but he wasn't falling for it. The kid was very cute! Basically it sounded like this: Boo-jaaan Anyone have any idea?

All I came up with was "bud" so maybe your dog reminded him of his own best buddie, Salem?

Thanks for looking. I looked all over too, and couldn't find a thing.
A friend suggested that maybe French Canadian would be slightly different and thats why I can't find it. Then again, the kid may have just renamed the dog. ![]()
